Comprised of leading academic experts from Europe and North America , the Moody's Academic Advisory and Research Committee fosters dialogue among researchers in academia and at Moody's. The group has been meeting semi-annually since 2001. The objectives of the meetings are:
- Discuss developments in credit markets and credit risk management
- Review the research findings of the various committee members
- Generate new research projects
- Explore opportunities for collaborative research
In addition, members circulate research in progress for comment and peer review as their work develops. John Hull, Richard Cantor, and Roger M. Stein chair the Committee jointly.
